About Hawthorne Village

Hawthorne Village is a unique community of twenty-two condominiums nestled high up in the midst of the White Mountains overlooking a beautiful, small, alpine lake titled Lake Stinson – which is itself nestled between seven mountain peaks. Winter activities include: snowmobiling on the various trails crisscrossing the village down to the lake and up into the adjoining mountains; down hill skiing at the nearby resorts; cross country skiing on the lake as well as enjoying the company of the condo residents and the locals oftentimes found ice fishing together on the lake. An array of summer activities include: all types of boating on the lake be it kayaking, canoeing, sailing or utilizing small speed boats and pontoons; swimming at the association’s private beach where there are also racks to store both the kayaks and canoes; walking the trails throughout the property site and/or hiking on the trails that lead from them into the nearby mountains; children and grand-children are oftentimes found in the play area utilizing the slide and swing sets located in front of the clubhouse while the members of the association enjoy playing tennis on the association’s professionally maintained court. Naturally, the fall brings its own beauty with an array of colors manifesting themselves during the foliage season brightly visible throughout the mountains surrounding the lake and within the adjoining forests.

Hawthorne Village is “unique” because of its special location high up in the White Mountains and its residents who are Eco-minded and are actively involved in maintaining the standards of living in a forested area as evidenced at the annual association meetings. Here every unit has a voice in front of an elected board who all work together on sustaining and improving conditions of community living resulting in an amenable environment for all of its residents.
